Course aimed at health personnel and first responders (emergency technicians, firefighters, police, civil guards, security personnel). Duration 8 Hours. The objective is to reduce mortality and the sequelae caused by trauma.
Specific objectives of the course
The objective of the course is to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform a first qualified care of the patient who has suffered a serious trauma. Therefore, students at the end of the course must be able to: Identify the main injuries. Make a primary and secondary assessment. Learn the different techniques to properly immobilize and mobilize the patient who has suffered a potentially serious trauma. Know and properly use the immobilization material.
