AED defibrillators and BLS training

Cenicientos committed to the cardioprotection of citizens

The municipality of Cenicientos joins the cardioprotection of all its citizens and visitors; On September 2, Proyecto Salvavidas, trained 13 people in basic life support and use of the AED defibrillator.

In addition to the course taught, they have 4 AED ZOLL PLUS defibrillators installed in their premises and municipal buildings, making Ashences a safer place against sudden death.

Have cardioprotegidos spaces is of vital importance since 80% of the cases of cardiorespiratory arrest occur outside the hospital environment, so installing defibrillators and training non-health people are key so that the figures for sudden death are drastically reduced

Everyone is susceptible to cardiac arrest anywhere, anytime, regardless of gender, age, or medical history. In addition, it is important to know that emergency medical services, take an average of 8 to 11 minutes In reaching the scene of the event, therefore, having a semiautomatic or automatic defibrillator is vital when resuscitating a person in cardiorespiratory arrest.

Cardioprotection is a responsible and practical decision since it is a way of committing to social responsibility. There are many places where thousands of people congregate every day and having an AED / DESA can save the life of any passerby.
