Training on how to use a defibrillator in Torres de Barbués

On Saturday, January 12, a group of neighbors from the Huesca town of Torres de Barbués carried out the Basic Life Support training and use of the Defibrillator.

This training consists of two parts, on the one hand, knowledge of Basic Life Support is acquired, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, airway clearance, hemorrhage control and lateral safety position. On the other hand, CPR or instrumental cardiopulmonary resuscitation is performed, adding the use of the defibrillator and assisted ventilation. In this way, they are accredited and perfectly trained for the use of the external defibrillator available in this town of Aragón.

Torres de Barbués a locality committed against sudden death

Torres de Barbués a municipality in the province of Huesca is already a cardioprotected town, with an automatic defibrillator and a group of neighbors trained to use it, they are now fully prepared to use a defibrillator and deal with medical emergency situations vital until the arrival of medical services.

As explained by the residents of the town, they will take you to sporting events, as well as to the different events and festivities held in the town to be prepared for any medical emergency that may arise.

The community of Aragón aware of the need to install public defibrillators

This town in the region of Monegros in Huesca and about 350 inhabitants, is aware of the importance of having defibrillators and that is why it has been launched. They have acquired their first automatic defibrillator, they have trained people and they intend to continue expanding the media and training more people from Torres de Barbués so that they can act when necessary and save lives.

More and more municipalities are joining this initiative of cardioprotection, of vital importance in situations of cardiac arrest for survival.
