The Rex Hotel in Madrid installs a defibrillator with cardiovending for free

El Cardiovending is a unique initiative in Spain driven by the Lifeguard Project as a form of self-financing through which you can obtain a defibrillator at no cost to the company, becoming a cardioprotected space.

Many companies and entities have already joined this initiative under the campaign "Consume por la Vida" have equipped their facilities with a defibrillator.

Among these companies we welcome the Rex Hotel in Madrid, the first hotel in the capital to implement Cardiovending in its facilities.

The Hotel Rex is a hotel if located in the heart of Madrid, in the middle of Gran Vía, a privileged situation to know all the corners of Madrid and enjoy the many attractions of the capital.

Its rooms are comfortable and modern, with dimensions that adapt to 1, 2 or 3 people but it is the superior room with terrace, with views of the city that has left us in love.

All these factors make this hotel a place frequented by tourists and with a very high level of occupation, which led to its magnificent staff, led by its director Antonio Pérez, decided to implement this cardiovending in collaboration with Autobar, supplier of Vending , and with Proyecto Salvavidas.

Thanks to this agreement, now the hotel Rex has a semiautomatic defibrillator for external use (AED) along with the poster of algorithm that indicates the steps to follow in case of cardiac arrest, ensuring the cardioprotection of all its customers and employees as its priority , as he tells us, is that his clients feel comfortable and safe, "like at home".
