The Àvila Provincial Council and the Lifeguard Project united in the cardioprotection of Avila, on this occasion we have supplied 19 Zoll AED Plus defibrillators and training in their use.
The Diputación de Àvila delivers 19 Zoll AED Plus defibrillators to Civil Protection groups in La Adrada, El Arenal, Arenas de San Pedro, Arévalo, El Barco de Ávila, Candeleda, Casillas, Cebreros, Mombeltrán, Navaluenga, Las Navas del Marqués, Pajares from Adaja, Piedralaves, Sotillo de la Adrada, El Tiemblo, El Hoyo de Pinares, Santa Cruz del Valle, San Esteban del Valle and Maello.
These are automatic external defibrillators that can be used in both children and adults, weighing less than three kilograms and equipped with the most modern technology to reverse sudden cardiac arrest, all with defibrillators number 1 in the USA. The acquisition of these 19 defibrillators includes the training of the Civil Protection personnel of the 19 groups, training given by the Lifeguard Project.
Finally, the president of the Ávila Provincial Council has pointed out that these electro-medical teams belong to "the whole of society and that you, servants of the people, are going to use them to help others".
